Supply Chain Assurance
ATOL Consultancy acts as the principal contractor’s passive fire protection consultant, working upstream with the steel fabricator, CLT and glulam suppliers and other appointed trades so that everything they deliver is compatible with the fire protection design.
Package definition before tender
We write or review the fire protection clauses in your subcontract packages: primer compatibility, surface preparation standards, shop-applied or site-applied protection, dry film thickness schedules and section factor data for steelwork; moisture content, surface finish and permitted treatments for CLT and glulam; and penetrations, fixings and secondary steel for other trades.
Supplier and fabricator vetting
We review proposed paint systems and liaise directly with coating suppliers, obtaining written manufacturer confirmation of compatibility rather than assuming it.
Off-site assurance and site interface
We verify surface preparation and coating records at the fabricator’s works, and agree delivery, storage, damage-avoidance and make-good responsibilities before steel and timber arrive on site.
Installation if you want it
ATOL can install to the locked-down specification and hand over a complete compliance file, giving you a single point of accountability.
