Derren Brown Ride — Thorpe Park

Scope of Works

ATOL was responsible for fireproofing and protecting all the steels on the innovative and original Derren Brown Ride at Thorpe Park.

Preparation

The full survey was completed to comply with the standards.

Area

Over 500m2 was to be fire stopped

Installation

Cut fire-rated batts to fit tightly into the voids that require protection.

All sides had fire-rated mastic applied before being friction fitted into place with all joints having mastic applied to create fire and smoke seal.

All penetrations to have appropriately tested fire seal fitted to manufacturers specification
